Don't Miss Your "Real" Market

Social media is cool, but ... unless you are a major celebrity or a global brand company (with millions of followers) it probably won't do a whole lot for your bottom line.

The reality is, most social media posts never even get seen unless you pay to boost them (and then people know it's just paid advertising). That's why engagement is often very low. It's a false sense of promotion. People spend a lot of time creating and posting content on social media, and they think they are promoting. Actually, they are completely missing most of their potential market. For the majority of people and businesses, the truly "bankable" publicity still remains primarily the domain of mainstream media -- TV, radio and print. In fact, mainstream media visibility is exactly how you build massive numbers of legit social media followers.
